St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network is a non-profit, regional, fully integrated network comprised of hospitals, physicians and other related organizations providing care in eastern Pennsylvania. The network includes more than 150 locations, four hospitals, more than 44,200 admissions, 1,224 physicians. A fifth hospital, St. Luke's Riverside, is planned and encompasses 500 acres of prime real estate. Initial phases of development have begun and include a four-story 108-bed inpatient hospital, a medical office building, and a cancer center. Completion is slated for Fall 2011.

Aspiring doctors soon will have the opportunity to earn a medical degree at the newly established Medical School of Temple University/St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network. Thirty students will be accepted into the inaugural class beginning August 2011. St. Luke's has 154 physicians enrolled in internship, residency and fellowship programs

Areas of special expertise include: a fully accredited Level 1 trauma center, open heart surgery, oncology (including the region's only fellowship-trained surgical oncologists) neuroscience, orthopaedics, high-risk pregnancy, region's busiest obstetrical service, robotic surgery, radiology (we are an international General Electric Show Site) and vascular disease.

St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network is located in the beautiful Lehigh Valley, PA, the state's third largest metro region. There are 10 colleges and universities including Lehigh University, scenic recreational opportunities including the Pocono Mountains, excellent economic environment, vibrant arts and culture scene, and very close proximity to New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
