King's Daughters Medical Center (KDMC) in Ashland, Kentucky is a locally controlled, not-for-profit, 465-bed regional referral center, covering a 150-mile radius that includes southern Ohio, eastern Kentucky and western West Virginia. KDMC offers comprehensive cardiac, medical, surgical, pediatric, bariatric, rehabilitative, psychiatric, cancer, neurological, pain care, wound care and home care services.
Established in 1899, King's Daughters ranks third in Kentucky in overall admissions, and features one of the state's busiest emergency departments (75,000 visits annually) but we are not a trauma center. With more than 4,200 team members, KDMC is the largest employer between Charleston WV and Lexington KY, and ranks among Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" for the past three years.
